Petra McGregor aims to explore women on screen with a deep well of strength, attitude and opinions that can change. She knows first hand that life can be messy, and wants to build worlds on screen that reflect that chaos, but also the love and faith that it takes to move through it all. Petra thrives while delving into the mysteries of the universe that go unacknowledged in day to day life. She strives to bring thought-provoking and daring stories to the forefront, and to bring complex characters to life. She is compelling, passionate, and dedicated to her craft. More than anything, Petra is always hungry for more.
Petra is an actor, model, writer and producer based in New York City. She grew up in Baltimore, MD and moved to NYC to study acting at NYU Tisch, where she trained at Stella Adler and Stonestreet studios. She has since starred in several indie films, including Crimson Ties, Dir. Francesca Scorcese, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June of 2022. While primarily an on screen actress, now in 2026 Petra is in development of a psychological thriller of her own, not only acting in the lead role, but the writer and producer of this feature film, with so much more to come.
